A week-long celebration of all things slab, this February at CroyWall
London’s biggest slab comp is back!
Calling all slab climbing enthusiasts – CroyWall Slabfest 2025 is almost here!
Due to last year’s popularity, we’ve decided to make Slabfest even bigger and better with a week-long competition. Mark your calendars: it all kicks off on Friday the 14th of February , with the grand finals and main event taking place on Saturday, February 22nd.
Slabfest Competition: A week-long challenge
This year, Slabfest will feature a week-long qualification round, starting on the 14th Feb and ending on the 22nd at 1PM.
You’ve got a week to send and project the qual blocs. If you’ve ever wanted to test your balance, precision, and footwork on a series of tricky, low-angle problems, this is your chance to shine!
On Wednesday 19th, we will be hosting a Junior Social for all the young climbers in our community!
The comp qualifications will run from February 14th to February 22nd at 1PM. Finals begin at 5PM. Open to all abilities and ages! Scorecards will be available to purchase for £2 across the qualification week.
Slabfest Competition: A week-long challenge
- Open social: Friday, 14th 7PM – 8:30PM, open to everyone and all abilities!
- Junior Social: Wednesday 19th, 2PM – 4PM, open to all signed off as an unsupervised junior.
Finals Day and Slab Party, Saturday February 22nd
Finals day will feature stalls from Moon Climbing, BOL, Unrooted Drinks, TENZING and Croydon Massage Therapy; showcasing the latest gear, apparel, nutrition and some self care!
This is your chance to treat yourself…
In addition to the comp and workshops, there will be challenges and mini-games to test your skills in a fun, low-pressure environment. There is something for everyone!
Top performers from the qualification round will head face to face from 5pm at the finals!

- 1st: £200
- 2nd: £100.
- 3rd: £50
Bonus prizes:
- Raffle featuring prizes from stalls on the day
Slab masterclasses with Louis Parkinson & Imi Bagnall-Smith
This year, we’re teaming up with our official coaching partners Catalyst Climbing, who’ll be hosting exclusive workshops throughout the day on Saturday, February 22nd. Join coaches Louis Parkinson and Imi Bagnall-Smith and take your slab climbing to the next level.
Slab masterclass with Imi Bagnall-Smith: If you’ve ever wondered how to push through challenging slab routes or improve your technique, these workshops are not to be missed! Available for all abilities. For ages 18+ and Juniors signed off as unsupervised climbers.
Dynamic movement with Louis Parkinson: Hone in on your dyno game with this masterclass with Louis! From mindset to technique, he’s got you covered. Available for all abilities. For ages 18+ and Juniors signed off as unsupervised climbers.
