Something for every climber

Based in stunning Kendal, in the heart of the Lake District National Park, these courses are the perfect introduction to life on the boulders, crags and cliff-faces of the United Kingdom.

Under the watchful eye of our expert instructors, you’ll get the chance to learn and practice the skills needed to climb in the great outdoors.

There’s something for every skill level. From one day climbing adventures, perfect for families and those new to the sport, all the way up to three day bouldering courses, and even five day programmes tackling the ins and outs of trad climbing.

Courses will run throughout the summer and will be in demand, so scroll to the bottom of this page to check out the available dates and book in today.

How much experience do I need? For our day-long climbing adventure, none at all! For bouldering and lead climbing courses we do advise that you should have at least have 6 months climbing experience (further details available under the FAQs of each course).

How hard will we climb? As hard, or as easy, as you want. Our instructors have plenty of experience taking new climbers outdoors for the first time, and will never push you into something you’re uncomfortable doing.

What should I wear? You’ll be exploring the great outdoors, so we recommend bringing layers for chillier days and a light waterproof jacket.

Where can I stay on multi-day outdoor climbing courses? The days will start in Kendal in the Lake District, and there’s plenty of local accommodation nearby, including hotels, B&Bs, and campsites. Summers can get busy, so we recommend booking early to secure your place.
