The LCC group have got lots of exciting events happening throughout March in celebration of International Women’s Day.

From comps, open-to-all, set by an all-female setting team, to Women+ Only route setting tasters, to our first ever Women+ Only Day*, there are plenty of ways for everyone to join in.

So, what’s on and when?

*Women+ is open to women and those who don’t identify as women, but who have experienced discrimination based on being perceived as female.

HarrowComp – Set by an all-female setting team

As a grand finale to the IWD celebrations, we will be hosting an exciting comp at HarroWall on Saturday 9th March, from 12-5pm.

Featuring an all-female setting team and also representing the first round of The London League, this is going to be a brilliant day of comp climbs celebrating the work of the fantastic female setters who make up a core part of the LCC setting team.

This comp will be team-based, with each team requiring at least 1 Woman+ climber.

We’ll see you there!

Women+ Only Day at VauxEast

To celebrate International Women’s Day we’re hosting a Women+* Only Day at VauxEast on Friday 8th from open ’til close.

Join us for safe, supportive vibes, an all-female staffing team, a huge evening social, and concession pricing all day.

That’s not all either! All attending climbers can claim 1 free guest pass, so you can bring along a friend who’s never tried climbing before (or at least never visited one of the 8 LCC gyms) and they can climb for free!

Women+ Only Setting Taster

Have you ever wanted to set your own climbs?

Learn route setting basics, from hold selection to wall attachment skills at BethWall on Wednesday 6th March. Then, craft your own blocs with chosen holds, guided by experienced female route setters.

The best bit, your routes will stay up for a week, giving your friends plenty of time to come and break your intended beta…
